Don Oscar Miro-Quesada originated the Pachakuti Mesa tradition of cross-cultural shamanism and is the visionary founder of the Heart of the Healer (THOTH) Foundation. A respected kamasqa curandero and altomisayoq adept from Peru as well as a Fellow in Ethnopsychology with the Organization of American States (OAS), he is a master at creating spiritual community through ceremonial awakening of a shared vision of benevolent societal transformation. In essence, his personal vocation is that of heartfelt living as a path of compassionate earth-honoring service sourced from the direct experience of reverence for the sacred gift of Life.
Waltraud Hönes is a shamanic practitioner of the Pachakuti Mesa tradition, transpersonal psychologist and Feldenkrais practitioner. For many years she has been a student of Don Oscar Miro-Quesada who originated the Pachakuti Mesa tradition. With his support, Waltraud founded and leads the Ayllu Dolomiten, a group of Pachakuti Mesa practitioners in South Tyrol, Italy. As Don Oscar’s sanctioned European representative of the Pachakuti Mesa tradition, she gives workshops throughout Europe, works in private practice and leads ceremonies and pilgrimages in the Dolomite region, where she lives.
